In England and Wales, if you’re an employer, owner, landlord or occupier of business or other non-domestic premises, you’re responsible for fire safety and are known as the ‘responsible person’. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 details what you have to do to comply with the law.

Your first task is to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment which identifies all the possible fire hazards in the work environment and details what prevention measures are required. The person who provides such a document should be “suitably qualified”.

At Horizon Fire we believe this means the assessor should be an independent advisor with a good deal of experience in fire protection and safety. Horizon Fire provides total in-depth fire risk assessment solutions, our Fire Risk Assessors, many with over 25 years safety experience, will work alongside yourself and employees to identify and minimize risks, in addition to ensuring all staff know what to do the event of a Fire.

A fire risk assessment from Horizon Fire, will ensure you have the best knowledge of what is required to bring your premises/site to a safe standard in accordance with current legislation.

As a Horizon Fire customer, we want to ensure that you are protected to the best of our ability against the risks of fire, and just as importantly, against the issues arising in proving your compliance with the law.
